Is anyone else here a builder and/or a collector of model planes? If so, where do you generally get your kits?

Usually at airshows as there so cheap. But eModels is also a good place.

My dad used to make models all the time, everything from airplanes to detailed cars and trucks. He was very good at it. Do people still do that?

I am involved with Scouts and I plan on having them complete models this year. It must still be popular, as there are two local stores with entire aisles devoted to the supplies.

That sounds great! Since I have boys, I never think about models (My husband isn't into them : he has his other project.)
