When I think of airplanes, I think of Howard Hughes. I really liked the movie "The Aviator," too! Anyone else see it?

I saw it and thought it was great. But then I like movies like that, it's a quirk.

Celebrities past, and businessmen celebrities like Howard Hughes, seemed so much more interesting than celebrities today. I mean, look what the man accomplished in order to be famous! He designed and flew the airplanes he designed - he was a real hands-on guy!

I love that movie! Poor guy was so tortured. Today, the genius would probably be medicated out of him. On the other hand, he would probably be a lot happier.

The dvd comes with some extra footage that's really worth watching. There are two separate pieces, one is an interview with co-star Alan Alda, and the second piece is with several people including the director, and medical personnel including an expert on OCD, as well as Howard Hughes widow.
