The pilots flying the super jumbo Airbus A380 will be getting a hefty pay raise. Interesing.

I hope they do better screening and don't hire the drunkards/drug addicts that always seem to be in the news.

I'm pretty sure that's rare. At least I hope so, because I once had a real fear of flying. Any doubt that the pilots were impaired would give me a huge setback!

You are probably right. It is probably such big news only because it is rare -- but it is scary when a situation like that does hit the news!
