My neighbor is a WWII veteran and he is so fascinating to talk to. I wish I could spend more time with him, as there always seems to be a kid demanding my attention.

There are so few of these veterans left, I would love to be able to preserve his stories somehow, but I'm not sure how to approach him about it.

I'm sure he is interesting, and he must be getting up there in years! I'd make the time, if I were you, to spend with this interesting person.
